Standard Warranty

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The following warranties are offered in addition to your automatic rights under the law.

🔩 Structural & Mechanical Warranties

5-Year Structural Warranty

We guarantee the structural integrity of our products for 5 years from the date of delivery or collection.

Covers:

  • Structural failure due to material defects
  • Welds or joints coming apart under normal use

Does not cover:

  • Moving parts such as hinges, latches, locks, or other hardware (these are covered separately under our 12-month moving parts warranty)

12-Month Warranty on Moving Parts

We provide a 12-month warranty on mechanical components such as:

  • Hinges
  • Latches
  • Locks

Covers:

  • Mechanical failure due to manufacturing or material faults
🎨 Surface & Finish Warranties

12-Month Workmanship Warranty on Coatings

We warrant our painting and surface preparation for 12 months.

Covers:

  • Blistering, peeling, or flaking caused by improper surface preparation or poor application technique

This warranty applies only to workmanship-related defects, not normal wear or environmental exposure.

No Warranty on Long-Term Paint Performance

Due to the intricate nature of wrought iron with its overlapping and detail elements, paint coverage and thereby performance cannot be guaranteed.

We do not warrant the long-term cosmetic performance of painted finishes.

Not covered:

  • Colour fading or UV discolouration
  • Chalking or oxidisation
  • Loss of gloss
  • Surface rust or corrosion caused by exposure

These changes are considered normal and expected over time.

📏 Customer Measurement Responsibility

All products are made to the dimensions supplied by the customer at the time of order.

What Is Not Covered

  • Products that do not fit due to incorrect measurements
  • Installation problems caused by dimensional errors
  • Adjustments or rework due to inaccurate sizing by the customer

We strongly recommend:

  • Measuring carefully in multiple locations
  • Allowing for clearance as advised in our measuring guide
  • Contacting us before ordering if unsure

What We Will Cover

We will repair or replace products at our cost if:

  • They are made outside our standard ±2mm toleranceand the error results in the product failing to perform as intended; or
  • They do not match the final approved CAD drawing supplied and confirmed by the customer prior to fabrication

In these cases, the product is considered faulty and will be remedied in accordance with this policy and your consumer rights.

🧱 Installation Disclaimer

Our service is supply-only. We do not provide installation services.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage caused during or after installation
  • Operational issues due to incorrect fixing, mounting, or levelling
  • Cosmetic or structural issues resulting from improper installation
  • Movement of the ground, foundations, posts, or surrounding structure that causes the product to become misaligned, fail to function, or sustain damage

All products must be installed by a qualified or competent person and in accordance with any installation guidance provided. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the surrounding structure is stable and suitable for the product being installed.

🔧 Repairs, Replacements & What’s Not Included

If a product or component is found to be faulty under this warranty, we will either repair or replace it at our discretion, based on the condition and nature of the fault.

Please note:

  • We do not cover removal or reinstallation labour costs
  • On-site service is not provided — all servicing is handled through our workshop
  • Transport or handling charges may apply in some cases
Warranty Terms Summary
  • Warranties apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable
  • Products must be installed and maintained properly and in suitable environments
  • Warranty claims must include proof of purchase and photographic evidence
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, modification, or harsh environments (e.g. coastal or industrial areas) is not covered
