About Our Products
What types of products do you make?
We specialise in made-to-measure wrought iron gates, fence panels, and decorative ironwork.
Where are your products made?
All made to measure pieces are fabricated to your dimensions in our Newcastle, NSW workshop.
Most of the steel stock is Australian.
We also use some imported ornamental components for example; spear-tops and small scrolls (usually from Italy and China).
The fabrication is never outsourced
What are your products made from?
We prefer solid steel for lasting strength and hefty presence. Some elements and frame components use hollow steel, however we never choose lightweight flimsy material.
The products are fully welded, not tack welded.
Ordering & Measurements
How do I order?
Choose your design, enter your dimensions and colour preference, then place your order online. We will confirm details with a CAD drawing before production.
Check out our Order Process page for a detailed guide.
How accurate should my measurements be?
Measure carefully in multiple locations — width is critical for correct fit. Orders made to incorrect measurements are non-refundable unless faulty.
Fence panels are designed to be a tight fit and are made to the measurement given to us
For fence panels in a brick fence you should allow a deduction of at least 3mm. (4mm recommended).
If your fence/wall has rough brick or stone you might wish to deduct a larger amount and allow to caulk or grout.
Do you allow for hinges and gaps?
Yes. For gates, simply enter the total opening size — we’ll make the correct allowances for hinges, posts, and clearances.

Production & Delivery
How long does production take?
Most orders are completed within 6 weeks after design approval, though times can vary depending on complexity and workload.
Why does it take this long?
For an idea of production time, it can be broken down roughly as follows:
- 2 weeks work already in queue
- 1 week fabrication in the workshop
- 2 weeks at the galvanising plant
- 1 week for paint prep and coating/drying
Where do you deliver?

Finishes & Maintenance
Are your products galvanised?
Yes — Our made to measure products use hot-dip galvanising for corrosion resistance before painting (unless otherwise specified).
The product page will detail the coatings for the specific product
What paint options do you offer?
We finish in durable two-pack coatings, available in a range of colours. Including and not limited to; Matte black, Monument, Classic Cream, Deep Brunswick green and many more
How do I maintain my wrought iron?
Regular cleaning and occasional touch-ups on chips or scratches will help prevent rust and keep your product looking its best.
Painted steel will naturally develop a bit of patina when exposed to the weather — a traditional look many people love in wrought iron. If you prefer to keep it looking brand new and shiny instead, plan on a fresh coat of paint every few years.
With hot-dip galvanising beneath the paint, the steel itself is protected from serious rust for many, many years.
